The following local students have been awarded this outstanding academic achievement in the Spring 2019 semester.

Wheaton College students (Wheaton, Ill.) were named to the Dean's List for the Spring 2019 semester.

Degree-seeking undergraduate students are eligible for Dean's List if their term GPA is greater than or equal to 3.400; they do not have any grades of "Incomplete", "D" or "F"; and they have registered for, and completed, at least 12 credit hours.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top twenty percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2018-19 have been named to the dean's list recognizing academic excellence.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for second semester 2018-19 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

217 Bates College students presented research at the 18th Mount David Summit. The annual celebration of academic achievement highlights undergraduate research; student creative work in art, dance, theater, music and film/video; projects conducted in the context of academic courses; and community-engaged research.

Augustana College announced more than 1,000 students were named to the Dean's List for the 2019 spring term. Students who have earned this academic honor have maintained a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a four-point scale for courses taken during the term.

Four hundred and fifty-nine graduates were conferred the degree of Bachelor of Arts from Carleton College on Saturday, June 15, 2019, the culmination of four years of study in the liberal arts.

A total of 11,406 students enrolled during the 2019 spring term at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 or above or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or to undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

The Iowa State University College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Dean's List honors students who have earned a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

The Iowa State University College of Liberal Arts and Sciences Dean's List honors students who were enrolled in at least 12 credit hours and earned a 3.5 grade point average or higher for the term.

More than 5,700 students at the University of Iowa were named to the UI's Dean's List for the spring 2019 semester. Undergraduate students in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the College of Engineering, and the Tippie College of Business who achieve a grade point average of 3.50 or higher on 12 semester hours or more of UI graded course work during a given semester or summer session and who have no semester hours of "I" (incomplete) or "O" (no grade reported) during the same semester are recognized by inclusion on the Dean's List for that semester. Undergraduate students in the Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine may qualify for the Dean's List with fewer than 12 semester hours of graded credit if deemed appropriate by the college. College of Nursing students participating in clinical courses must have a total of 12 semester hours of earned credit, with eight semester hours of graded credit with a grade point average of 3.50 or higher.

Lakeview College of Nursing recently awarded a bachelor of science in nursing degree to 52 students who attended the College's Danville and Charleston locations.

Bradley University congratulates the more than 900 students who received their academic degrees in May.

More than 830 students have been named to the spring 2019 Dean's List. To be named to the Dean's List, a student must have carried throughout the semester a course load of four or more graded credits with an average of 3.5 or above.

The following students have been named to the dean's list at Bates College for the winter semester ending in April 2019.

Bradley University announces the Spring 2019 Dean's List. To be eligible for the Dean's List a student must achieve a minimum 3.5 grade point average for the semester on a 4.0 scale.

Clemson University awarded more than 3,600 degrees at spring 2019 commencement ceremonies.

Wheaton College (Ill.) students were inducted into the Scholastic Honor Society during Wheaton College's Honors Convocation.

To be named to the dean's list, students must have a grade-point average of 3.0 or better and rank in the top 20 percent of their class in their respective college or school.

Several students were recently recognized as being inducted into the Lakeview College of Nursing Developing Honor Society.

The following students achieved the Dean's List at Belmont University for the Spring 2019 semester. Eligibility is based on a minimum course load of 12 hours and a quality grade point average of 3.5 with no grade below a C.

The No. 36 ranked University of Wisconsin-Whitewater women's tennis team will host seven teams for the first three rounds of the NCAA Division III Championship this Friday-Sunday at Wangerin Courts in Whitewater.

Students inducted into Monmouth College's Alpha Lambda Delta honor society

Bates College environmental studies majors completed courses in natural sciences, social sciences, and humanities in addition to a 200-hour internship and the community-engaged capstone course in which groups of students pair with a community organization to bring scientific and other types of expertise to a specific project that addresses a community-identified need.

High-achieving students were named to the Knox College Dean's List for the 2019 Winter Term.
